Shared Web Hosting Unlimited Policy

This policy applies to all shared hosting accounts with unlimited disk space and/or unlimited bandwidth.

The following types of websites are not allowed:

  • Websites containing copyrighted content to which you do not hold usage or distribution rights
  • Backup, archive, file upload /sharing, and mirroring sites
  • Sites primarily created to drive traffic to another website
  • Sub-leasing or making your disk space, bandwidth or other resources available to the general public, whether for free or for a fee
  • Any other site whose primary purpose is to utilize excessive resources (CPU, memory, bandwidth, disk space, etc)

Web sites should be optimized to utilize the least amount of resources possible, including CPU, memory, and disk I/O. If your site is negatively impacting other accounts on your shared hosting server, you may be asked to sign up for a Cloud VPS server.

By default, all accounts are provisioned with storage on Solid State Drives. Accounts using more than 5GB of disk space may be moved, at our discretion, to a server utilizing traditional hard disks for storage.

Abusable Resources

Upon notification of the existence of an abusable resource (e.g., open news server, unsecured mail relay, or smurf amplifier), the customer shall immediately take all necessary steps to avoid any further abuse of such resource. Any abuse of an open resource that occurs after the customer has received such notification shall be considered a violation of this policy and enforced as such.

CodeRedHosting may immediately suspend and/or terminate the customers service for violation of any provision of this policy upon verbal or written notice, which notice may be provided by voicemail or E-mail. Prior to suspension or termination, CodeRedHosting attempts to work with our customers to cure violations of this policy and ensure that there is no re-occurrence; however, CodeRedHosting reserves the right to suspend or terminate based on a first offense
